Michael A. Gaines, Adult Sports & Recreational
Director, Henderson County Family YMCA:
I would like to express our gratitude from the
Henderson County Family YMCA for your assistance in
making our 9th Annual Youth Subsidies Golf
Tournament a success. Your team provided us with
professionalism and knowledge with the format,
restructure of the handicaps, water towels (great
idea...the players loved it) and a lovely course
with awesome views. Everything was smoothly done and
the event would not have been such a success without
your cooperation.
We hope that the YMCA and Cummings Cove can continue
to work together and build a strong partnership
through this event for years to come. |

Jim Ince, Hendersonville, NC:
I’ve played 19 courses in the last two years, and I
can say that Cummings Cove is one of the best
maintained courses in the area and compares
favorably to The Grove Park Inn. |

Wayne
Babb, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida:
My search for the perfect spot in Western North
Carolina led to the stunning “Mountain Top”
neighborhood at Cummings Cove where I found an
affordable piece of land with million dollar views.
Proximity to the quaint town of Hendersonville made
it extra special. My wife, Cindy, and I are
extremely pleased with the redesigned golf course,
and we are looking forward to using the new sports
and fitness center. We hope others are lucky enough
to find the happiness our family has found in
Cummings Cove and Hendersonville. |

Cory Bocchino and Linda Stocker, Cummings Cove
residents:
On behalf of the Social Committee, we thank you
again for making the “Spring Fling” such a fantastic
success. Chef Jeff and his staff outdid themselves
with the quality, diversity and presentation of the
food. And, as always, the service was terrific. |
|
Kevin J. Monacelli, Controller, Meat Commodities,
Inc., Asheville, NC:
I want to take a moment to acknowledge the terrific
job you did in making our May 5th company golf
outing and dinner a huge success. . . . In the four
years that we have been holding this function, this
was by far the best time that everyone had. . . .
Every person on your staff was especially friendly.
. . . The golf course is just breathtaking. Special
thanks to your chef who had the difficult task of
preparing steaks for a group of “meat experts.”
Everyone did nothing but rave about them. Given the
winning combination of your great staff, food,
course layout, clubhouse and reasonable prices, we
look forward to doing this again next year. |

Robert
Huth, Esq., Deerfield Beach, FL:
My wife, Patty, and I built our first home in
Cummings Cove in 1998 based on promises of a
re-designed golf course and other country club
amenities. We were so pleased with the improvements
and the warmth and friendliness of the residents
that we built a second home in Cummings Cove last
year. The golf course, which is continually
improving, is beautiful and challenging. It has
become my favorite place to play golf in the
mountains. |

Donna DeJohn, Cummings Cove resident, writing on
behalf of the Ladies “9 Hole” golf group:
We just held an invitational with 32 women from
Connestee Falls as our guests. The event went off
flawlessly. Our guests raved about the back nine
holes. I cannot say enough about how helpful the
staff was before and during the luncheon. Chef
Jeff’s inspired Oriental Salad had many of the
ladies asking for his recipe. The golf shop staff
was extremely helpful. It was truly a wonderful day! |

Susan
Maybin, Cummings Cove resident:
Golf is a major activity at Cummings Cove, and
playing has provided me an avenue to quickly make
friends and keep active through league play,
individual play and special tournaments. Our
renovated course is gorgeous and challenging. I also
love being involved in other activities here: book
club, card groups, social events at the clubhouse,
and hiking. |
|
Lisa Cain, Hendersonville, NC:
Please accept my thanks for arranging a perfectly
grand birthday luncheon. I’ve heard nothing but
accolades about the food, and the service could not
have been better. |
|
Clint Bales, Cummings Cove resident:
Using the clubhouse for a recent business
presentation worked out very well. The staff did a
magnificent job. |
