Golf Shop
 The
Golf Shop offers essential golf equipment and
accessory items as well as top-of-the-line clothing.
The experienced golf staff is eager to provide our
private club service to visiting golfers as well as
regular members. Golf Operations Manager, Matt Riddell,
isn’t bragging when he says Cummings Cove has one of
the best courses in Western North Carolina. He is
quoting the hundreds of visitors who have played the
course in the past year and praised the course’s
character, variety, beauty and condition.
An avid golfer, Matt has managed
 the
Golf Shop for twelve years and is as comfortable
swinging a golf club as he was flying B-52 aircraft
before retiring from the Air Force as a Lieutenant
Colonel. Originally from Maine, Matt and his family
moved to Hendersonville in 1994 because they were
looking for a mild climate and thought
Hendersonville was “like Maine without the snow.”
Cummings Cove golf course is open year round. Rates
vary with the season, day of the week and time of
day. Please call the golf shop for rates and tee
